Personal Experience
Mark Horn joined the practice in August 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Old Dominion University and a Masters of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University.
Mark believes each person is unique and deserves acceptance and compassion. While he favors a person-centered approach to therapy, he is knowledgeable in a wide range of theories and techniques and tailors therapy to each person’s needs. He hopes to support his clients while they work to build a life that is meaningful to them. Mark has expertise in mindfulness and meditation practices, Compassionate Communication (NVC), and existential-humanistic modes of therapy.
